How deals are picked, how prices are checked, and how TreadCompass makes money
We track sale prices and coupons from automotive brands and retailers, including Amazon, VEVOR, Eastwood, Maxpeedingrods, AstroAI, Fanttik, Rexing, VIOFO, and Autel, plus partner stores through affiliate networks. Deals are ranked using the size of the discount, available coupons, customer ratings and review counts, and brand reputation. We also filter out listings that aren’t real products, such as merchant payment links and items priced under $1.
Prices and coupons are refreshed daily. Flash sales and limited-time coupons can still end between updates, so the price at the retailer’s checkout is always the final price.
No. TreadCompass is an independent price tracker. When you click a deal, you buy directly from the retailer on their site, and they handle shipping, returns, and warranty.
Retailers change prices often. Lightning deals sell out, coupons expire, and some prices vary by region or by the option you select, like size or color. If a discount ends between our daily updates, the retailer’s price takes precedence. Let us know if a deal looks wrong and we’ll check it.
Report a deal →The crossed-out price is the retailer’s own regular or “compare at” price. The main price is what the item sells for now, after any coupon that applies automatically. Some coupons need to be clipped on the product page or entered at checkout; when a deal has one, the coupon is shown on the deal card.
It compares the current price to the retailer’s own regular price. Retailers set those regular prices themselves, so a big percentage is a starting point, not a guarantee of the lowest price anywhere. Comparing a few deals in the same category is the best way to judge real value.
Alongside sale items, we list selected products from partner stores at their regular price so you can compare options in one place. Those appear without a discount badge.
No. Prices shown are the retailer’s item price. Shipping, tax, and any membership requirements, like Amazon Prime shipping, are shown at the retailer’s checkout.
We participate in affiliate programs. If you buy through a deal link, the retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions don’t change the prices we show.
Affiliate disclosure →Yes. Tire prices are compared separately on our tire search, where you can see every retailer’s price for your exact size, including current sales and rebates.
